Mrs Hofman is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity whilst helping those in need - the St. Joseph's School Art Competition. See the below flyer for more information. A gold coin entry fee is required for all entries, with all monies raised going towards the school's Lenten Caritas appeal. A tub will be available for students to place their entries in near the library. Artworks may be drawings, sketchings, painting, collages...the list goes on! There is a size restriction (60cmx60cm) to ensure the artworks can be brought in a stored easily. Students can enter multiple artworks, and each artwork must be clearly labelled and include a gold coin entry fee (these can be taped to the back or included in a snaplock bag). Artworks can be completed on paper, cardboard or canvas and there is white A4 and A3 paper available at school. Entries close Friday Week 9.

Packing a Healthy Lunchbox

It is essential that students are coming to school each day with a well balanced lunchbox. Foods high in sugar, artificial colours and flavours and fats are not suitable for school lunchboxes. If we want students to be working hard in the classroom, we need to ensure they are fuelled with healthy foods. The following linked document may be of interest when planning your child's lunchbox:
