Co-curricular - Senior Sport

Summer Sport Finals

We congratulate and wish the best of luck to the 17B, 17C, 15C, 15D, 14B, 14C, 13B, 13C and 13D Basketball teams playing Grand Finals this Saturday at Penrith Basketball Stadium. Students and parents/carers are to ensure they have familiarised themselves with all ISA guidelines and protocols posted on Team App.

We also wish the best of luck to our undefeated 1st XI Cricket team who will be hosting the Grand Final on Breen Oval this Saturday, taking on St Stanislaus College. A COVID-19 Safe BBQ will be held from 11.00am till 2.00pm for all spectators to purchase a sausage on a roll or a can of drink. All proceeds from the BBQ will be donated to the College Lenten Fundraiser. All are welcome to come and show support, however please remember to scan the QR code on arrival and to maintain physical distance around the ground.

All the best to our NDJCA teams this weekend who will play their Semi-Finals, as well as to the U14 Gold Baseball team who will play their RHBL Semi-Final this Saturday. Deservingly, the U16s Baseball team have progressed straight through to the Grand Final next Saturday 20 March.

Cross Country Season

It is with great fortune that St Patrick's College has again been welcomed to compete in the GPS/CAS Cross Country Season for 2021.

Students who have nominated to only compete in Cross Country as a Co-curricular and no other winter sport will have the opportunity to run in a series of competitive meets on Saturdays.  These meets will be of great value for our runners as preparation in the lead up to the ISA Championship on Wednesday 26 May. A note will be sent home shortly to those students who nominated Cross Country as a Co-curricular.

Winter Sport

Winter sport trials will commence on Wednesday 17 March. These trial schedules can be viewed on the sports notice boards, Team App (under Documents Tab) or the College website (under Senior School Fixtures Tab).

Those boys still engaged in NDJCA or RHBL Finals on Saturday 20 March are to continue to meet their summer Co-curricular commitment as a priority, in the knowledge that their absence at the first winter trial will in no way see them disadvantaged in terms of team selections.
