Garden

Don’t you just love home grown, fresh veggies and fruits? As well as picking and taking care of plants? Every week the juniors visit the garden to harvest the abundant fruit and vegetables for the seniors to use as ingredients for their cooking. The Juniors also ensure they water and take care of the plants & garden. All of the junior students have really enjoyed playing, working and exploring our school's beautiful garden.

Cooking with Bu Mundy!

While the Juniors are busy in the garden, the seniors are cooking up the delicious meals with help from Bu Mundy. This term the 5/6s have created potato rostis, pancakes with fresh strawberry sauce and tomato and herb pasta, it was so scrumptious we were begging for seconds! The 3/4s have also cooked potato salad, roti bread and a sweet rhubarb crumble. It has been an enjoyable time learning to create new recipes, cleaning up after ourselves and cooking with Bu Mundy who we thank so much for her hard work and patience cooking with us kids! We can't wait to bake something else next term and keep on using the freshly grown fruit and vegetables.
