Senior Sport Gala Days

On the 15th of March the 3/4s had their Gala Day. They had an epic day playing with other children from the different schools within our community, it was definitely a day to remember! 

The sports the 3/4s played were: Rounders, Newcombe & Hotshots Tennis

Well done on showing amazing sportsmanship during your competitions, there were no finals in the 3/4 Gala Day.

On the 23rd of March the 5/6’s had their Gala Day, everybody had a blast. There was so much teamwork! 

The sports that the 5/6 students played were: Volleyball, Hotshots Tennis, Newcombe and Softball.

The above sports were very challenging, but enjoyable sports. But nothing is too hard for the 3/4s and the 5/6s !

Here are what some of the students thought of their wonderful gala day:

• Brianna 3/4G - I enjoyed being able to play sports with other schools!
• Theo 3/4R - I enjoyed playing rounders and also having an awesome day!
• Mia 5/6C - It was fun playing against other schools and other people.
• Natasha5/6W -  I liked meeting new friends when playing softball

Looks like we have some superstars in our midst! 

Great job to everyone for participating, but especially to the Boys 5/6 Newcombe team and the Girls Tennis for both coming 1st!  Amazing job, everyone!
