Greater Western Regional Lawn Bowls Championships
Good luck to the following children who will be competing in the Greater Western Regional Lawn Bowls Championships - Jamie Balcombe, Darcy Foster, Ted Buchanan, Hugh Coulson, Toby Barren, Lewis Murphy, Koby McCrickard, Archie Martin, Harmony Parker, Hugh Gibson, Jarryn Baker, Patrick Doyle, Izaac Tate, Jed Hay, Reagan Oborne, Pippa Barren, Nate Parker, Aubrey Melville, Bronte Scott, Jai Barrow, Seb Cooknell, Jarvis Holland, Layla Haslem, Monti McCrimmon and Jordan Kelly. This will take place in Ararat this Wednesday 17th March.
Just a reminder that the bus is leaving Sacred Heart from the Gym carpark at 6.30am. Please do not be late!
Football Clinics
This Wednesday the children in Years 2 and 5 will participate in a football clinic with Dylan Slater and Darcy Moloney. Each clinic will go for one hour. Children need to wear their sports uniform and bring a drink bottle. The clinics will take place at the following times.
9.00 am Year 2 RB
10.00 am Year 2 FM
11.30 am Year 2 LM
12.30 pm Year 5 LB
2.15 pm Year 5 RO
Greater Western Swimming Championships
We wish Toby Barren all the best when he competes at the Greater Western Swimming Championships this Friday 19th March in Horsham. Go Toby!
Golf Coaching Sessions
On Thursday 18th and 25th March, the Year 5/6 children will have golf lessons with professional coach, Hayden Garner. The lessons will go for one hour with each class on both days. Children will need to wear their sports uniform. Don’t forget a drink bottle!
Primary Schools Netball Carnival
This Friday 19th March, all children in Years 3 and 4 will attend a Netball clinic at the Eastern Reserve in Wilson Street. Children will be broken into small groups and rotate through a number of netball skills and fun activities. Year 4’s will attend the clinic from 9.30 am – 12.00 noon and Year 3’s will attend the clinic from 12.00 noon - 2.30 pm. Children will be travelling by bus to this event. Children will need to wear their sports uniform, bring a drink bottle, snacks and a packed lunch.

Colac Division Athletics
The Sacred Heart Athletics Team has been selected for 2021 and will compete against the other local schools at the Colac Division Athletics on Friday 26th March. This will take place at the Central Reserve commencing at 9.30 am and finishing at 2.45 pm.
Trinity College have a closure day, so if you have a student who could come and help with field events on the day, we would appreciate it greatly. The field events run from 10.30 am – 1.30 pm.

IMPORTANT – Change of Date for our Sacred Heart Junior Athletics (Prep-2)
Unfortunately we have had to change the date for our Sacred Heart Junior Athletics for all students from Prep to Year 2. The new date will be Tuesday 30th March. Apologies for any inconvenience. This will take place at Sacred Heart between recess and lunch. Children will need to wear their sports uniform and bring their water bottle.
