Hi Everyone,

With Easter and the school holidays fast approaching we hope many of you will manage to get away for a well-earned break.  But before you do, let’s take a glance at what we have to look forward to before the end of term and in term two. 

We are kicking off our first 2021 school fundraiser this Friday with the Annual Mum’s lunch at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club. We hope you have your Beret’s ready for what promises to be a fun-filled afternoon and a chance to get our merry band together for a good old, overdue catch-up.  Our special thanks to the principal organisers: Danielle Johnston, Vesna Zuban and Andrea Priddey.

So what’s next?  

23 April - THE GREAT BPS SAUSAGE SIZZLE IS BACK!!! A massive welcome back to  ‘The Sausage Sizzle’.  A firm favourite with the kids (and us parents), we hope to hold one on the last Friday of each term.  However our first will be a welcome back Sausage Sizzle fun lunch on the first Friday of term two on 23rd of April. 

We would love to hear from anyone interested in helping us to deliver these this year.  We need parents to prep/clean, cook and serve/clear up.  They are great fun and a fab way for those new to the school to meet people.  We (Emma and Jan) have the sausage sizzle to blame for our current PFC partnership, having met over a steaming hot barbecue three years ago!!!

30 April - Mother’s Day Stall.  We have a great team already sourcing fab gifts for our kids to purchase for their mums.  More info will follow in term two.

20 May - The BPS Lapathon will see our kids run or walk laps of the junior oval to raise funds for the school.  There might even be a surprise or two this year!! 

SAVE THE DATE - Saturday 24 July - for our parent’s ‘Big Night Out’.  Cut the tags off some of that online shopping you did during lockdown, drag out the heels you’ve hidden at the back of the cupboard, hope your babysitter hasn’t had a family of their own since the last time you booked them, and get your party on!
