We are in the second Sunday in Lent.

 Loving God, like peter, James and John, we

long to see the glory of Jesus your Son.

You call us to listen to Him in the midst of the clouds of life that can overshadow us.

May our knowledge that He is with us be enough

to strengthen our faith, hope and Love.

First Eucharist

Today Grade 5 students in CA and AI  celebrated their First Eucharist. Please keep these students in your prayers. Thank you to Mrs Marylene Douglas our Religious Education Leader, who made sure everything came together seamlessly.

Thank you Father Andrew for celebrating this special sacrament with our Grade 5 students.

Meet and Greet

Thank you to the teachers for the time they gave to the Meet and Greet sessions last week. Thank you to all the parents who took the opportunity to meet with the teachers and talk about how to help their child have a great 2021.

Tennis before school

Trish Angliss has kindly volunteered her time 4 mornings a week to open the tennis courts before school from 8-8.30 am. The courts will be opened Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings for all students. If your child would like to be part of this, Trish has spare tennis racquets, if needed. Students will need to bring their school shoes to change into after playing tennis if it is not their sport day.

Celebration of Learning

Last Monday we had a celebration of learning where students worked with their buddies to create 4 banners with our school values. These banners, when completed will be hung in the school hall.The students had a special lunch and a whole school assembly followed. The Grade 6 student leaders received their badges.

It was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a whole school and celebrate the first 5 weeks of school and our learnings about ourselves, our classmates and the school motto. Dare to Love; Dare to Learn: Dare to Lead:

Tomorrow we have a whole school assembly at 2.30pm. The parents of the 2 grades presenting are most welcome to attend. We cannot invite all parents to attend, as we are still under COVID restrictions.
