Debating Success - Into the Final

Mrs Jenny Roff

Congratulations to our senior debating team of Year 11 students Angus Scrivener, Jean Boshoff and Joel Croft, and Year 10 student Roie Wood. On Wednesday they defeated TAS in the semi-final of the Australia-wide AIS (Australian Independent Schools) competition. The topic was that 'publicly denying climate change should be illegal' and we were the negative side. Our team now moves onto the final next week against the winner of the other semi-final Canberra Girls' Grammar and Scotch College Victoria.
