Design and Technologies

As we start to wind down for 2019 and put all of the sewing machines to bed, I reflect on how much colour, creativity and bonding times that Room 67 and Room 68 have seen this year.

The students are always pushing boundaries with their sewing skills and if need be, unpick a stitch or two to sew their best straight stitch.  So it is an honour to announce that two Year 12 students have been selected to participate in the Catholic Education Week 2020 Creative Arts Exhibition.  The Exhibition will be held at Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.

Congratulations to Ruby McMaster and Elena Parry for your creative outlook and technical skills. Ruby planned and designed a three piece silk outfit reflecting Catholic imagery.

Elena planned and designed a silk evening dress blending China  and contemporary red carpet attire.

Well done girls!
