Game Changer Challenge

ASC has eight teams entered in the 2021 Game Changer Challenge, a Department of Education initiated design-thinking programme open to all 2,200+ public schools across the state.  Each year, participants are required to explore solutions for a real-world problem; this year teams must choose to either create a solution or advocate for change based on the issue:

... humans have unlimited needs, but the planet has limited capacity to satisfy them

The Challenge got underway on Monday 3 May, with teams gathering in the Library for the day to start working through the Challenge playbook, develop ideas for their solution and presentation.

Teams have continued to work independently to complete their video applications by the Friday, 11 June closing date.

We celebrated meeting our deadline with a film premiere in the Library - complete with a candy bar!

Teams who have been selected for the next round will be announced during the first week of next term.

Well done to all team members for demonstrating impressive dedication and effort throughout the term. Fingers crossed for when the results are released next term!
