Under 13’s GCS Rugby League team defeat O'connor Catholic College

On the 27th of May,  Guyra Central School Under 13's rugby league team played against O'Connor Catholic College at the Guyra Central School. It was a relatively easy win for  Guyra Central School winning the game 24 - 4.

Guyra Central School hit the lead early in the game with the score 18-0 by half time with some early tries by Rave Brazier.

There were many note-able performances by the Guyra team, however credit must be given to the three year six boys (Levi Vanderwolf, Tynan Bull and Billy Lockyer) who stepped up to play the high school students from Armidale.

Player of the match was awarded to Jason Mowbray who dominated the field in attack making several good runs in the middle for GCS and laid the platform for the dominant victory.

Try scorers for GCS were Rave Brazier (3) and Jason Mowbray (1) . Conversions were made by Brendan Landsborough, Ryan Williams and Rave Brazier.
