iCreate Visual Arts
The students in iCreate Visual arts have been experimenting with the traditional technique, Printmaking. They have trialed scraperboard etching and Screen printing process and media to create desired subject matter.
Scraperboard etching technique presents a negative image which appears white, gold or silver. Sports Report
Being through halfway of Term 3, there has not been too much happening. So far, we have had our Year 7 and Year 8 Weekly Sports which include our Basketball Boys and Girls Team, Year 7s Futsal Team and our Touch Rugby Teams. Our Teams although not having the results they would have wanted; all students have been playing hard and having fun.
On the 11th of August, we hosted our annual Athletics Carnival at Ross Reserve. A great day full of events and competitions, where we saw some cosplay and costumes, a day where students enjoyed and had fun. The whole day ran smoothly, as the weather was holding back during majority of the day but around 2pm, it started raining down, as students rushed under cover and staff rushed to pack away everything ending up drenched from the rain. The only events missed were the relays but besides that, it was a fun day. With many students participating and earning points for their respective houses, the results are as follows. In Forth, Paterson. In Third, Gordon. In Second, Lawson and the Winner for the 2022 Westall Athletics Carnival is Dennis!! Well done for all students participating and congratulations to all those in Dennis. Also, a Massive thank you to Mr. Gropel for organising and running the whole event.
