Year 6 News

High Flyer Programme

Seniors have received feedback for both their Term 1 and Term 2 High Flyer evidence and those with successful completion will be presented with their certificates this Term. Both Term 3 and 4 High Flyers are shorter programmes and we encourage all senior students to have a go at demonstrating the personal qualities they are graduating with. Students who successfully complete all four terms of High Flyers will be awarded with Honours at the Senior Graduation Ceremony.

Year 6 Transition

Term 3 and 4 is always an exciting time for Year 6 students and their parents as we celebrate the end of our students' primary schooling and begin their transition into high school. 

Students planning to attend a government secondary school will soon receive a placement confirmation in a letter directly from the secondary school they will be attending.  This letter will contain information regarding upcoming transition days and information sessions.  

If your child will be attending a non-government school next year, we would appreciate advance notification of the day your child will be absent for a transition visit.

Senior Graduation 2022

The 2022 Senior Graduation is a fantastic ceremony that acknowledges the students' time at the school and allows us the opportunity to formally farewell our 2022 graduates. We are currently still working out what this will look like on the night as we want to give our seniors the perfect send-off. The Graduation ceremony will take place on-site in the gym. More specific details will be sent home closer to the date. The ceremony will most likely take place on Thursday, 8th December Term 4 (confirmation to come). 

End of School Excursion - Marion Aqua Splash

Senior students will be involved in a celebration day to be held at the SA Aquatics Centre at Marion in Term 4 (DATES TBA). This is a great day for our senior students' to enjoy some time together as a cohort and celebrate a successful primary school experience.

Year 6 Aquatics

This year our Year 6's are lucky enough to participate in the Aquatics programme that will be held down at Port Noarlunga Aquatic Centre on Friday, 2nd December Week 7. More specific details will be sent home closer to the date. (Reminder; our Year 6 cohort will NOT be participating in swimming during week 7, Term 3)
