Year 4 Fete Planning Projects

Year 4 has begun to plan the NMPS Twilight fete which will be on Friday 4 November. 

What Rides?

We require three rides and Eric chose the Eliminator. 

What food?

We need two food and drink stalls. Penelope planned snow cones and popcorn. Inara designed one attraction and two sponsorships. The sponsors she chose were Woolworths and the Lost dog home. 

We then worked out the area required to fit in rides and food stalls. The area is the inside space of a shape or object. The perimeter is the outside of the objects. The ride with the largest area was the Atomic Drop with an area of 120 meters squared.  The food stall with the smallest area was the Snow Cones with 2 meters squared. 

We also designed the Year 4 plant stall with the measurements for area and perimeter. We presented our findings using Minecraft education.
