                          Grade 5/6 News

It is good to be back in Australia. Students have settled in well this term. My Study Tour was exciting and challenging and has given me a lot to think about.

In religion, the Grade 5 /6 students have continued to look at the church as part of our community and how we can be more like Jesus by learning about people who have done great things with their lives. This week we plan to look at our gifts and how we can share them with others in our community.

The students in English have been focusing on making predictions about a text. They have enjoyed writing narratives. The students continue to look at our use of vocabulary and connectives and the correct use of punctuation in their writing. 

In maths, the students are finishing up collecting data, representing it and predicting, and starting number and place value this week.

In cross-curriculum, the students have been looking at computer coding.
