What a success!
We are so thankful for the families that supported our Kids Canteen this week and allowed students to purchase a healthy mango smoothie.
Kids Canteen is an initiative that started in 2022 by our Grade 5 and 6 students. The objective is to provide healthy foods to our Oatlands Community, whilst learning about healthy foods and why they are are good for us!
Yesterday we were thrilled to see so many students bringing their own reusable cups with them, to enjoy their smoothie! This is one way we can help our environment and make a positive impact!
We can't wait for our next Kids Canteen in a few weeks time! Keep your eyes out for further information!

Recycling is changing for the better
The Victorian Government is improving household waste and recycling services and facilities to recover more resources than ever before and make more new products from your recycling.
Making more from your recycled glass
Glass recycling is improving across Victoria with the introduction of a new glass only recycling service and a large investment in glass reprocessing facilities.
Keep your recycling loose
Just by putting your recycling in the bin loose and not in bags means it can be collected, sorted and processed more effectively and can be turned into new things like park benches and roads.
