WA AMEB Award Program

This exciting initiative recognises the commitment individuals of all ages make to the performing arts. In either a school or community arts environment, the WA AMEB Award acknowledges an individual’s engagement in ensembles, productions, and other collaborative activity, while advancing their skill development through a recognised program. Recognised by SCSA, students in Years 11 and 12 can use the WA AMEB Award to contribute towards their WACE requirements.

 


Molecular Sciences Laboratory Experiences 

Year 11 and 12 students are invited to join the School of Molecular Sciences for a unique experience completing hands-on laboratory activities with skilled researchers within UWA’s dedicated laboratory classrooms.

Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Honours) 

The Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Honours) will equip you with critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills to be able to help young people understand the world around them and create effective tools for learning.

 

Navigate a classroom with up to 100 days professional placement in schools. Benefit from close partnerships with primary schools that offer additional opportunities for volunteering, further learning, and connections with practising teachers.


UWA Events

Social Work Information Evening

Wednesday, 23 August, 5.30pm – 6.30pm

 

This information evening, available both in person and online, will introduce you to the diversity of social work careers, and the structure of UWA’s Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work courses. Hear from our academic staff, current students and recent graduates about their experiences and the benefits of studying social work at UWA.

 

For those attending in person, light refreshments will be provided, as well as the opportunity to speak with staff and students.

 

 

Auditions for 2024 Entry to UWA Music

Saturday, 16 September and Monday, 27 November

 

UWA’s flexible, innovative course structure gives students the opportunity to tailor their study pathway and achieve their unique goals. Students can specialise in performance, composition, musicology, creative music technology, electronic music – or they can choose to combine music with other study areas, giving many choices of career. Create your future at the UWA Conservatorium of Music!

 


WA Government – School Based Traineeship Program

This is a fantastic opportunity for students heading into Year 11 to gain real experiences working part time in government while you finish Years 11 and 12. Over 18 months you’ll build valuable workplace skills and be paid as you learn.
