Spotlight on Performing Arts

Performing Arts Festival

It has been a very busy start to Term 3 with Festival season kicking off with our dance groups, Trilogy and Trinity/Mercedes combined group performing at School 2 Stage on Sunday, followed on by our Senior Chorale and Vocal Ensembles performing at St Mary’s Cathedral for the Sacred Choral Section of the Catholic Performing Arts Festivals on Monday evening.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Trinity College were privileged to host the Instrumental Brass and Percussion Ensemble Sections of the Catholic Performing Arts Festival, welcoming Ensembles from 12 other schools across WA to the Braham Auditorium.

Over the next 5 weeks the Instrumental, Choral, Dance and Drama students will be appearing in their various categories of CPAF and at the ABODA and Classical Guitar festivals open to all schools in WA, and our dancers also in Wakakirri.

Well done to all those that have performed this week, whether it be in an instrumental ensemble, choir or as a solo/duet, your passion and dedication towards the Performing Arts is a true display of the TC Spirit.

A special thanks goes to the Performing Arts Staff, FOPA and to the amazing parents for all their support and commitment to the Performing Arts.

Good luck to all the boys performing over the next 5 weeks!

School 2 Stage

We are pleased to announce that on Sunday, 23 July 2023, both Trilogy and our combined Trinity/Mercedes dance groups participated for the first time in the “School to Stage” dance competition. We are proud to announce that Trilogy achieved a remarkable 3rd place in the Year 10 Lyrical/Contemporary section, competing against 11 other schools. The adjudicators were particularly impressed by the group's outstanding technique, especially noting the excellence of our talented boys. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team.
