Compass Award After School Navigation and First Aid Training

Well done to all the students on our walk around Lilydale on Wednesday 26th July.

The students worked in their small groups to plan a looped route (leaving and then returning to school) around different parts of Lilydale.  The students were totally responsible for the route, map reading and decisions. I was very pleased with their organisation and effort, including a significant effort in practicing some basic first aid.   Great job!

Looking forward to more training at the end of the month as they practice their camp craft!
