About Parents and Friends

Parents and Friends is a wonderful way to be at the heart of the school community, have a voice in planning activities and meet new people. With the two campuses, the need for parents to be involved is more important than ever to effectively plan events that will build school spirit across the campuses.

Here are the upcoming confirmed activities for the rest of the year. If you are particularly passionate about any of them or have the time around then to lend a hand, please contact us at community@nmps.fun

Many Hands Make Light Work: Book Week, Breaky BBQ & Art Show

Term 3

Book Week: 21-25 August with Character Parade on Thursday 24th

Breaky BBQ: Friday, 1 September from 7 – 8:30am

Term 4

Art Show: 24-26 October

If there are any Queensberry Cup enthusiasts, there is an opportunity for an NMPS booth. Parents and Friends will not have capacity to run this being so close to the Art Show, but if anyone is interested in running it, please get in touch.

Looking ahead to next year, planning is already underway for next year’s activities making this the ideal time to join. Please come to our next monthly meeting at the Castle Hotel on Tuesday 8th August 7-9pm or reach out to let us know how you would like to be involved.
