The 2023 National NAIDOC Week theme was 'For Our Elders'. 

The Grade 4 students delved into understanding how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders have played, and continue to play, an important role and hold a prominent place in our communities. We researched Elders such as Uncle Jack Charles and Dr Lois Peeler AM and learnt all about the wonderful things they have done and continue to do in our communities. 

Maths

Each class has set up a classroom economy on the online platform 'Banqer'. We have looked at GST, comparing money to fractions and percentages, and created classroom jobs and expenses.  

Project Rockit

On Tuesday morning, we participated in a Well-being and Cyber Safety incursion, ‘Project Rockit'. A range of scenarios were presented where students gained an understanding of what bullying is, how to stand up for our peers and strategies we can use in our everyday lives.
