Where the Wild Things Are

We have been learning about pronouns and nouns in Reading, and innovating on “Where the Wild Things Are” in Writing. The students thought of really interesting ideas for writing, such as sailing on a boat to Lollies Land and sees lots of lolly monsters as the wild things. 

Shapes in 2 & 3 Dimensions

We have started our 2D and 3D shapes unit in Maths. This week, we looked at various 2D shapes, such as pentagon, hexagon, rectangle, triangle, square and so much more! 

The students had the opportunity to make 2D shapes using popsicle sticks and playdough, as well as playing games like “Guess my shape” and “Celebrity Heads-up with 2D shapes”. They have thoroughly enjoyed these activities.
