This Week's Birthdays

Congratulations and best wishes to those celebrating their birthday this week and last week. 

This week our badges acknowledge Lady of Mount Carmel. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Day is celebrated annually on July 16.  In the year 1251, in the town of Aylesford in England, Our Lady appeared to St. Simon Stock, a Carmelite and presented him with the first scapular. Our Lady of Mount Carmel  brown scapular  Christians wear is a sign of salvation, a protection in danger, and a pledge of peace.
