Marram

What a fantastic session the Marram children had on Thursday! The children took to the longer session with confidence and excitement, exploring the environment and getting to know their peers and teachers more. 

There were moments of singing, lots of construction and some wonderful interactions with the opportunities in the new playground. 

We are looking forward to the first full week of Kindergarten sessions this Tuesday and Thursday.

Budja

It has been an incredible first week with our Budja class, the children were so settled and their enthusiasm and excitement led to two incredible day's of learning and discovery. 

It was amazing to see how the children used the new outdoor yard, with the trickle stream and sandpit being the standout playspaces! There is still lots to finish in the build, but it is a huge milestone to be using the areas that are completed and ready. 

We had an incredible moment of learning occur on Friday, one of the children brought in a butterfly and shared a video of it emerging from a chrysalis. The children were fascinated by the process and we engaged in an incredibly deep conversation for the first week of the year! 

It's going to be an exciting week ahead, we can't wait to see where we end up!

Gawarn

An amazing start to the kinder year for our Gawarn group. There was plenty of awe and excitement as we explored the outdoors – adventures in the big car, quiet construction and marvel of our trickle stream.

Indoors we had some wonderful story telling with the felt boards, c.d. audio books as well as some singing and dancing. It was an amazing start to the year with the children being very settled on their first day – arriving with confidence and enthusiasm.

We look forward to another positive week as we also welcome our three year old groups, Wimbi and Dharug to begin their kinder journey.
