Discovery Centre in 

Term 1 

Day One , Term One was the first time the Foundation students went to school. They started off by attending school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and on Wednesdays they had assessments with their teachers.

This term the Foundation students have been extra excited about their learning in class. They learned about high pitches and low pitches in music, they also enjoyed Reading Eggs and writing sentences, and they especially loved playing in the playground. When students were interviewed,  they reported that 'they’re very happy with the teacher they have and the class they're in'. To show their appreciation for their teacher they made a card for each of them.

Another exciting event for the Foundation students was the visits of their Year 5 Buddies. They have had two lunches so far and we are sure all the students can’t wait for the next one!

The Foundation students have so much energy which is used during PMP time, it’s a fun and exciting way that they can improve their physical health. We all love to see the Foundation students excitement in taking a big step from kinder to school.
