Northcote District Swimming Carnival

Northcote District Swimming Carnival is coming up on Thursday 18th of February. This is a Carnival where our school competes against the other local schools in our District. 

For most events we can only take one student per age/gender group (9/10 year old boys and girls, 11 year old boys and girls and 12/13 year old boys and girls). For freestyle we can take two and the 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay and 4 x 50m Medley Relay where we need four for each. Students can do a maximum of 2 individual events and 2 relays. If there is more than one applicant per event, lap times will be used to determine participants. 

If your child would like to compete I will need you to provide me with a time, so please either email me the 50m times of the events your child wants to compete in (Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke, Butterfly) or write them on a note and return it to me as soon as possible so I can finalise the squad and get permission notes out.

The carnival is being run at the Fitzroy Olympic Pool on 160 Alexandra Parade, Fitzroy on Thursday 18th of February. If you have any further questions you can contact me via email at dale.mclean@education.vic.gov.au
