Armidale Diocesan Touch Football Trials

Congratulations to the 8 students who represented St Joseph’s at the Diocesan Touch Football trials last Friday. It certainly is a fantastic experience to be placed into random teams with unfamiliar faces to be able to showcase sportsmanship and skills. 6 students were successful in making ‘possibles and probables’, with 5 of those students selected in the Diocesan team. Congratulations to Mylie Doust and Bronte Ellis for making the Girl’s Team and to Aden & Dustin McBain and Bobby Chard for being selected in the Boy’s Team. These students will now attend training in Tamworth and will compete at the Polding Championships at Tamworth on Friday 1st April. What an outstanding achievement for our little school!

Compass Events and CompassPay

St Joseph’s has now launched CompassPay, which has enabled us to gain electronic consent and payment. Every family should have received an email containing a Parent Information Sheet with instructions for how to consent to a Compass Event and pay via CompassPay. Please speak with the office should you be experiencing difficulties with this. 

Preston Campbell Cup

The Preston Campbell Cup will be held in Inverell on Wednesday, 30th March. It is a fun Gala Day open to all Stage 2 & 3 students regardless of experience. There will be tackle and league tag games with Stages 2 & 3 participating separately. The NRL development team have organised a number of retired players to be present. The Compass event will allow you to ‘accept’ or ‘decline’ the opportunity to participate. Please do this by Monday, 21st March.
