CATHOLIC SCHOOLS CELEBRATE 2018
*** TONIGHT ***
Share the Spirit of Youth - TONIGHT!!
Well tonight is the night and the full dress rehearsal yesterday has proven it will be a spectacular show. Over 1200 tickets to our production have been sold however tickets are still available for those wishing to come along. From a personal point of view I would like to thank our fantastic, creative staff who have worked so hard for this night. Most of the work has been done out of school hours which just shows the outstanding level of commitment and dedication of our staff. It is because at St Nicholas, we value this type of our cultural experience for our students, especially for those students who love to dance, sing, act and perform and have been waiting for their opportunity to share their talents and shine.
A special thanks to our parents and carers who have supported their children with transporting them to practices, helping to source costumes and props.
We look forward to sharing this night with our families, Parish and local communities as the students and staff showcase their talents!
A LETTER I RECEIVED FROM ONE PARENT THIS MORNING:
"I just want to wish you all the very best for a wonderful ad successful CSC 2018! I'm so proud of all that the St Nicholas staff have done with this production and from a personal point of view, my daughter is floating on cloud nine and has been all term in anticipation of tonight! She hasn't let me see any of the Year 5 act so it will be new for us to see. Have a great night and well done on all the hard work leading up to tonight."

VARIETY POSTIE BASH DASH
Sunday 4th November 2018
As part of our 2018 Wellbeing plan our staff have volunteered to provide breakfast for the riders participating in the Variety Postie Bash Dash on the morning of Sunday 4th November in the Fitzroy Street Mall outside the Post Office Hotel. This will commence at approximately 7a.m and will consist of a BBQ bacon and egg roll, juice, tea and coffee. Our students are currently making 'Get well' cards for our posties to deliver to children in hospitals along their road trip. As a result of this act of service, the Variety Club is providing our school with a grant for a new 3D printer. More details of this event will be provided in Term 4.
For now, if any of our families would like to come down and join us on the morning we would love to welcome you. For catering purposes please email me with your family name and the number of family members you anticipate joining us for breakfast.
