ELC and EAL News

We would like to welcome our new ELC students: Maggie Miao, Leah Chen, Jialin Li, Alice Xu and Chan Le. The students recently travelled from China and Vietnam respectively; they are very excited and nervous about commencing their studies in English.

On Thursday, the students visited the CBD for their City Experience excursion; the purpose of this event is to support the students in their orientation of Melbourne and to share with them important cultural and historical features of our city.

Going global with girls footy

At the end of term 2 the Intermediate Australian Rules Football team and some International students were involved in the production of an AFL promotional video.  It was produced in partnership with the Melbourne Football Club with the aim to focus on globalisation within the community. Former AFL Melbourne player Russell Robertson led the girls through some skills and match play.  Our girls were so positive and enthusiastic although it was freezing cold.
