School Production

PRODUCTION WRAP UP

Congratulations to all students on their performance in “Sunnyville” our school production. They certainly melted our hearts with their dancing, singing and the high calibre of acting amongst our Year 5/6 students. Sitting as audience members was an unbelievable experience and we were beaming with pride for each and every student. You could just see how much they enjoyed entertaining our community and performing on stage at a real theatre.

We are incredibly lucky to have such talented families within our community who are willing to give their time and provide such a unique opportunity for our students. It's not often a primary school presents a full scale school production rather than a small concert. Our parents were amazing in everything from script writing, video production, costume design, prop design, music production, choreography and much more. We hope you had a chance to attend and see our students shine. Please see our gallery of photos on the TV screen in the foyer. A special thanks to Peter Wijtzes who captured all the photos from the pre-show rehearsal, matinee and evening performances.

BEHIND THE SCENES

To our teachers and families, thank you for supporting our students and in particular the costumes were incredible. Miria would like to acknowledge all of you with her little message below:

Thank you students and parents for taking such care, interest and creativity in preparing your costumes - you really took ownership over it and you did an amazing job. You looked fantastic! And another special thanks to the teachers for such great coaching, support and reminders to the kids to change carefully and to look after their costumes - it would have not been possible without them. It really was a collaborative effort!

Cheers! Miria
