Loving God, we thank you for this glad time of year, this Advent season which reminds us of so much, and which reveals so wonderfully the extent of your love. For your coming and coming again in Christ, we thank you in the glory of your name. Amen

LITURGY NEWS
Yesterday 5CH had the opportunity to attend Reconciliation. We thank Fr Francis for his continued support of our faith journey.
INFANTS LITURGY
A huge thank you to the staff and students for their participation at the Infant's Liturgy on Wednesday. The singing, reading, and responses were great. A big thank you to the parents, grandparents, and friends who were in attendance. Thank you also to Fr Chris for leading the liturgy.
FAMILY MASS
The last Family Mass for the year will be held this Sunday 1st December (1st Sunday of Advent) at St Nicholas Church commencing at 9.30a.m. Year 3 are rostered on to bring a plate to share. We hope to see as many families as possible.
ST NICHOLAS FEAST DAY - END OF YEAR- WHOLE SCHOOL MASS
This year our End of Year Mass will be on Friday the 6th December. This Mass will be a Whole School Mass beginning at 9.30 am in the Undercroft with ALL students to be dressed in full summer uniform. All parents, family members, and friends are invited to attend. At this Mass, we will launch our revised School Mission Statement and we will also formally acknowledge and farewell our Year 6 students.
CHRISTMAS JOY - MUFTI DAY
On Friday, 13th December we will be having a Christmas Joy Mufti Day- the students will be able to wear Christmas coloured clothing, or a Christmas t-shirt or tinsel in hair etc. (no coloured hair spray please). We are requesting that a gold coin be brought in. All monies raised will be going directly to the St Vincent de Paul Bushfire and Christmas Appeal.
PARISH INFORMATION
Youth Group
St Nicholas Parish is starting a Youth Group for students in Years 6-9. It is open to all students who have completed their Confirmation. Agenda includes games, fun activities, dinner and faith formation. Beginning this Friday 8th November at 6pm at St Nicholas Church Meeting Room.
