Year 9 students and parents will need to attend a Year 9 into Year 10 information evening on Monday 24 July at 6pm in the Lecture Theatre. This evening will provide families with information about subject choices for Year 10 and how to submit these into the online system.

Year 10 students will need to attend a Year 10 into Year 11 information evening on Tuesday 25 July at 6pm on the Lecture Theatre.  They will be informed about the VCE Course selection process and student's personalised instructions and log on details for the web preferences. ollowed by a subject Expo in the VCE area where students and parents can speak with subject teachers. There will also be a number or tertiary organisations represented who can also answer questions regarding post-secondary study options.

Year 10 Course Counselling Day

This will be held on Friday 4 August. Students have been able to access their appointment time with their course counselling teacher. The counselling session provides students and their parent opportunity to discuss subject selection with the course counsellor before final submission of subject choices is required by the end of the day. Students should be considering their pathway post-secondary school and looking to choose subjects that are prerequisites for tertiary entry, or subjects which cover a number of options they may be considering. Students should take the opportunity to meet with Rebecca Poulos, Career and Pathways Manager,  to discuss their options and any questions they may have. It is compulsory for all students to attend their course counselling appointment. Students who do not attend their appointment will not be able to attend the Year 10 Social that evening.

Year 9 City Experience - Wednesday 2 to Friday 4 August

The City Experience is fast approaching.  Students will need to make their own way to Sandringham Station on the  Wednesday morning.  More information about arrangements to meet at the station and their itinerary will be distributed soon.
