5/6 Open Water Swimming Day

We had a blast at our Open Water Swimming Day on Wednesday 9th of November.

We were so lucky to have such great weather, however unfortunately we were unable to go into the water at the beach, as it had been contaminated from stormy weather in the prior days leading up to our Open Water Swimming Day.  Whilst we were a bit disappointed about this, our instructors made it fun and even taught us some basic first aid skills.

When we got back to school, Mr Welsford heard that we had not had the opportunity to get wet, so he got the hose and sprayed all the students who wanted to get wet and cool off and he even gave us all an icy-pole. It was such a great experience!
