Highlights of the Week

WESA Round Robin Day

Today the grade 5 and 6 students had a fun day competing in the WESA Round Robin Day at Jells Park.  Out cricketers won 2 games and lost 2 games, our netballers won all 5 games and our kickballers won 1 out of 4 games. Well done to all children who competed!

Remembrance Day

With the grade 5 and 6 students away for their Round Robin Day, we had our grade 4 children leading the Remembrance Day ceremony. They did a wonderful job commemorating our fallen heroes and leading the school in a minute's silence.

Prep Transition

On Tuesday we welcomed our 2023 preps to Holy Saviour for their second transition session.  They spent a lovely afternoon in the P12KV classroom with Mrs Kelly VanVeen and Mrs Jenni Kilkenny. Tuesday's session was all about literacy. The children read some stories, participated in craft activities, sang songs, played games, and even received a writing sheet for homework to practice over the holidays. Mrs Cathy O'Brien also conducted an informative literacy session with the new parents.

We look forward to welcoming them back again on Tuesday 22nd November.

Lunch-Time Music  Club

Over the last few weeks, children in 3/4EW have been arranging a lunch time music club. Last week they arranged some musical games, and this week they explored Google Chrome Music Lab and created some wonderful music. It has been lovely to see the older children mentoring the younger children so well.

Scrapbooking Club

Over the past few weeks Bethany De Silva, Nicky Nguyen, Theresa Pynadath, and Zahra Nagra have been doing a fabulous job creating scrapbooks of our historical photos. Well done girls!
