A period of celebration

George graduates

We would like to congratulate George Yalda on finally receiving his Year 12 graduation certificate from Mr Lane during a special Support Unit Assembly back in Week 4.

Thank you to Mr Brookefield, Mr Lane, Ms Sahid, and everyone involved in making this once-in-a-lifetime moment a possibility for George and his family.

Green Class celebrates King Tut

On 8 November 2022, the Green Class celebrated the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb. The class learnt all about the boy-king and his life.

The highlight of the lesson was seeing and touching a makeshift Egyptian Khepesh that was used as an actual prop in the 2001, The Mummy Returns.

We would like to thank Mr Griffiths, the History/Languages faculty and the library staff for allowing our students to engage with these rare artefacts.

Learning from a world-class athlete

On 14 November 2022, the Orange class had the pleasure of once again learning from Paralympian George Tonna, who has recently returned from a stint as a member of the Australian contingent that competed in the Physical Disability Rugby League World Cup in England earlier this month.

As always, it was a wonderful experience that left all students involved with a smile on their faces.

We would like to thank Heroes With Ability and Mr Brookefield for providing our students with this meaningful opportunity every week.

Eric shines in Focus On Ability Film Festival

We would like to once again congratulate Eric Huynh from Year 12 on finishing up as a finalist in this year's Focus On Ability Film Festival.

His film, Ben10 In Real Life, explores his passion for Ben10 and his favourite snack, Burger Shack's chilli fries. You can view the film here:

As a part of his journey, Eric had the opportunity to attend a red carpet event with his family and teachers. It was a blast!

Shining Stars takes off

Our Shining Stars squad finally made it to the big stage this term! Congratulations to all the students who performed at Campbelltown Arts Centre.

We would like to thank Mr Jacob and Ms Hassan for making this opportunity possible for our students.

All the hard work finally paid off!
