Year 9 Work Experience

Any work experience forms that have not been handed in yet are now OVERDUE. All forms are to be handed into south campus reception - not given to Mr Manning to sign - as checks need to be made before he signs them.

During hub time in Week 3 we started our Safe@Work presentation. This will continue in Week 7 with students also completing their Safe@Work certification. By the end of Week 5/Week 6 forms will be emailed to employers and a copy will be sent to students.

VET Course Enrolments

Hopefully we should see the 2023 VET course fees advised shortly, as the band funding (Government funding) has now been announced for the Govt schools. Once we are advised of the course fees, parents will be advised.

Year 10/11 VCE Subjects

With headstart not far off, any students who are wanting to change VCE Subjects for 2023 are advised to address any change requests ASAP.

If students are unsure what subjects they need as a prerequisite to undertake a specific University course, I suggest they take a look at the VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) website: https://www.vtac.edu.au/

VTAC is not just for Year 12 students entering their applications and preferences for University. There are sections specifically directed to and designed for other year levels.

Explore the year level that applies:

Students can also explore the current courses available on VTAC Course Search. For information about how to use Course Search, there are links to instructions in the 'Before You Apply' section.

A Reminder for Year 12 Students

Year 12 VCE students will need to register to receive their results and ATAR on Monday 12 December. Even if you have put in a VTAC application you will still need to register. (Students will need their VCAA Student number to register.)

Any students who are applying for courses be sure to check ALL prerequisites required to be considered for an offer.  Specifically, for Education you will need to take the Casper test.

If you don't complete your test before the deadline you may not be considered for first round offers. Please check the deadline and requirements for the course/s you have applied for. There is just one date before the December round offers:

  • Sunday 13 November - 1pm AEST
