Hi to all for the last time this year from the Huntingtower P&F.

We think everyone is looking forward to the upcoming festive season after another crazy year.

All learning and exams are finished for the year and the kids and teachers finally get to take a break. Hopefully we get some good weather over the summer and everyone has a chance to unwind and reset for another fun-filled Huntingtower Year in 2023.

We have quite a few things in the pipeline for next year starting with our Welcome BBQ which is scheduled for Friday 17th February.

This will be followed on 24th March with our long-awaited Cinema Under the Stars that was postponed due to the crazy Spring weather we endured.

Keep your eyes and ears open early in the year for info regarding these and many other fun events we have planned for 2023.

2022 Wrap Up:

The P&F have had quite a few fun times throughout the year including the Welcome BBQ, Trivia Night and Honey Drive we ran.

We also supported the Lions Op Shop, ran a Candy bar at the Matilda musical, BBQs for the Monash Youth Music Festival and Junior School Ball Games and this week provided a Thank You Morning Tea for all the lovely staff of the school who put so much effort into making Huntingtower such a wonderful community to be involved in.

Leave Your Mark:

We still have our Paver fundraiser running for a little longer so don’t miss out. All funds raised from this will be going towards some outdoor exercise equipment being built as part of the redevelopment where the old Cypress pines were adjacent to the running track. This equipment will be able to be utilised by the students and the rest of the HT community. Now is the time to leave your mark on the school forever with a named paver. 

Its always nice to see the names of past and present students when walking round the grounds. Please see the flyer and link and get your details in so your time at the school will go down in history forever.

While you are away from the school over the summer, be it near or far, we hope you remember to slip, slop, slap and stay safe in whatever you get up to. While you are at it, I ask you to remember that this time is about giving, even if it just a smile to someone on the train or a good morning while taking a walk. Spread the joy this holiday and make the world a little better with your actions.

We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
