Music and Drama Week

Week 4 is the inaugural Music and Drama Week! Secondary students will enjoy Music and Drama-themed quizzes in Homeroom, as well as live performances from the R&B Soul Ensemble, Year 11 Rock Band and contemporary ATAR students at lunch on Monday and Wednesday, on the Chapel Lawn. On Tuesday and Thursday, Secondary students can head to Roncalli Hall at lunch for Theatre Sports, and everyone will be entertained by senior students performing 5-Minute Musicals on the Chapel Lawn on Friday!

Jazz Night at the Ellington

One of the College’s most popular concerts, the Jazz Night at the Ellington will be held on Monday 16 August at 7pm. Featuring performances from the Swing Band, senior vocal ensembles, saxophone ensembles, selected soloists and an Ellington debut for the R&B Soul Band, this concert is not to be missed! All parents, family and friends are welcome; book early to reserve your table seats! Please note, the Ellington Jazz Club is a fully licensed venue. Non-student family members are welcome to enjoy the full-service menu.

St George’s Cathedral

St George’s Cathedral welcomed music lovers back to their ‘Concert at One’ series yesterday performed by John XXIII’s finest singers and musicians.
