Harmony Day

Harmony Day will take place on Saturday, the 17th of March 2018 at the Willows Historical Park, Reserve Road, Melton from 11 am to 3 pm www.melton.vic.gov.au/harmonyday

 

The event will be packed with cultural performances, free food, and activities like face painting, henna tattoos, community performances, African drumming, kinder gym and other children’s activities, Bollywood dances, cultural food and drinks ( Middle Eastern, Ethiopian, Spanish and Australian BBQ), community partnership program stalls, and many more.

The Power of Collaboration

The Power of Collaboration will bring together community leaders from diverse backgrounds to discover the rewards of working together.

Melton City Council is calling for community representatives from African background to fill one vacant position on its African Communities Working Group (ACWG).
