NAPLAN

All students in Years 7 and 9 will be participating in NAPLAN assessment on the dates below:

Tuesday 14th May

Wednesday 15th May

Thursday 16th May

NAPLAN is a national program that looks at the literacy and numeracy skills of students in four areas of learning: Reading, Writing, Language Conventions and Numeracy. How can you help students? By ensuring they have a growth mindset about NAPLAN testing, encouraging them to do their best and asking students to give it a go – in other words, to Try, Persevere and Achieve! Please also ensure they have a pencil, eraser, sharpener and calculator with them during the testing.  If you have any questions about your child’s preparation for NAPLAN, ask the office to help you make a time to speak with the relevant teacher or coordinator.
