Students in the workplace
Year 10
This week our Year 10 students have been out in the workforce, undertaking their Work Experience.
It has been absolutely amazing to hear so many success stories – students thriving and happy, with some even being offered jobs.
Congratulations to all students who found a placement and completed this valuable experience.
I would like to thank all of the staff who visited students in their various workplaces throughout the week – students appreciated this level of support and seemed to really enjoy seeing a familiar face.
We have received so much positive feedback from employers and are very proud of our student’s achievements.
We have created a Work Experience Celebration Photo Wall in the Senior Centre. Students are being asked to add a personal written reflection to this.

Year 10 Work Experience
Congratulations to all students who participated in Work Experience 2 weeks ago. This was a fantastic opportunity to get a taste of the workforce and trial a job of interest to them. Some wonderful success stories and learning experiences. Teachers were pumped after returning from visits to students in the workplace, proud to see students thriving and happy. We have some great photos and have put together a Work Experience Photo Collage in the senior centre where year 10 students are being asked to write a short reflective statement/comment that celebrates their achievement.
Students will be writing a letter of thanks to their employer in their next Careers class.
