Heather McClure

Head of Junior School.

It has been a busy fortnight in the Junior school, with students busily completing exam revision in preparation for their exams this week. We held assemblies for each year level and discussed study tips (see study tips poster) and developed a timetable for revision.

With the cooler weather (rolling in as soon as we ticked over to winter) it is important that students are wearing appropriate uniform choices. Students should still be in full school uniform including school pants, tights or skirts. If a student is unable to be in uniform for any reason they MUST bring a signed note to the year level leaders office before 9.00 am for a pass.

Should you require any support purchasing uniform, please contact the relevant year level leader.

Last week year 9 students put on their entrepreneurial hats and ran their own businesses. Our lunchtimes were filled with fun activities ( pie throwing at staff) hand made jewellery and sweet treats . Students engaged in their businesses and should be proud of the effort that they put in! I am sure that all learnt valuable skills.

CAMP REMINDER: the last week of this term is year 9 Camp- this camp is free and we would love to see all students attending. Please contact Lachlan Mika or myself to ensure that you student is attending.

Stay warm and enjoy the last few weeks of Term2.
