Principal Post

Dear Families,

It's official - Winter has begun and what an icy blast to begin the season!  Wet and chilly days appear to be with us for the next week!  So bring those umbrellas and jackets and  keep warm!

We still have  a high number of students and staff who are unwell with a myriad of viruses and bugs, so  we ask that you  continue to monitor the health of  your family very carefully. Keep your child at home if unwell.

Please report all absences as required and adhere to  COVID protocols as has been outlined in several newsletters.

Staffing News

Emma Sofra will be taking Maternity Leave. Her last day at school will be  June 10th.  I know you will join me in wishing Emma and Joe every blessing as they await the birth of their 3rd child.

Emma who teaches 3/4 GS on Mon & Tues  and 3/4 HS on Friday will be replaced by Kristina Khoo.  Kristina is returning from Parental Leave and is very well known to our school having taught PE at SJV across many years.  Kristina has also worked as a classroom teacher.  Kristina is excited to be returning to SJV.  She is already planning with the 3/4 level team and has met with her classes!

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

OUT OF SCHOOL CARE - CAMP AUSTRALIA - HOLIDAY PROGRAM AT SJV

THANK YOU to the parents who have expressed interest in participating in a holiday program at SJV.  At this stage I will take these expressions of interest to Camp Australia.

For this to be considered  as a possibility at our school we would require further interest from parents.

If you are at all interested in the possibility of requiring the service for your child  in the school holidays please email me. The costs for participation in the holiday program can be found on the CAMP AUSTRALIA  website.
