School Photo Day

A reminder our school photos will be taking place on Tuesday the 31st of May and Wednesday the 1st of June. This year we are using a new supplier with all orders being completed online. Please follow the information in the below infographic to place your order. A timetable regarding your child’s class photo day will be communicated closer to the 31st of May. 

District Cross Country

The district finally had the opportunity to run their Cross Country Carnival on Monday at the new venue - Nerang Velodrome. Thank you to all of the parents who were very patient and flexible with all of the changes due to weather! Our students competed with great determination, giving their best in every race. Congratulations to all of those students who competed, with a special congratulations to Isabella and Kai who both came 4th in their respective races and will advance to the next level of competition to hopefully gain entry into the South Coast team. Well done!

Inter School Sport

As you may already be aware, our ISS program has been heavily impacted by rain with the closure of council fields leading to the cancellation of Friday sport over the past few weeks. I will assume that this will also be the case this week with the forecast rain hitting our already waterlogged fields. The district has decided to continue with ISS into next term competing in Week 3, 4 and 5 of next term to make up for lost weeks this term. Fingers crossed we get some kind weather over the next few weeks so our students get an opportunity to play!

Yr. 5 Camp

Information regarding our Yr. 5 Camp will be sent out to families this week. Students will be going to Thunderbird Park in Week 3, of term 3, to engage in a range of fun activities targeting student’s ability to work in teams, challenge themselves and build on existing and new friendships. This is always a great camp with many students listing this as a highlight of their time at PBSS. If you have any questions or concerns about camp, please contact your child’s class teacher. 

2023 Prep Enrolments

Enrolments are now being taken for the 2023 Prep year. If you live in the catchment and you wish to enrol your child, please collect an enrolment pack from the office. Interviews will follow in July and enrolment forms must be completed before an interview is organised.

Prep Parent Information Session
