Principal's Patch

Dear Parents and Carers 

My name is Scott Anderson and I am very proud to be the new Principal of Palm Beach State School. My most recent position was Principal at Pacific Pines Primary where I have been for 12 years. Prior to moving to Pacific Pines, my career was spent in North West Queensland in and around Mount Isa including Doomadgee, Camooweal and Julia Creek. 

I have really enjoyed my first week at Palm Beach and have been made to feel very welcome by parents, staff and students. I would like to acknowledge the work of Ms Thompson on her leadership of Palm Beach over the past 7 years. The positive school culture that has been created is very obvious to me already. I wish her all the very best for her well deserved retirement. 

I look forward to working closely with the school community to value add to the already great work being done at Palm Beach State School. Please if you see me around pop up and say hello!
