Mini Vinnies News...

Last week the Mini Vinnies team met with the teams from St Mary’s and St Brendan’s to make up Christmas hampers for those in need in our community. We made up 50 hampers filled with special treats for the Christmas table. We sincerely thank everyone who donated items and supported our activity; you have made a difference to the Christmas many people in our community will have.

While we were at the Vinnies food distribution centre, we also delivered all the cans of food families had donated for Mission Month. When we arrived, the shelves were quite empty but we quickly got to work stacking them with tins of food and they were almost overflowing when we had finished. We thank everyone for their kind donations and helping those in need.

A message from the President of the Western Port Conference of St Vincent de Paul

“We thank all the Students, Parents and Teachers for the over whelming support we received from the school for our recent Christmas Food appeal. With the assistance of the Mini Vinnies group from the school, along with several Conference members, on Monday the 28th November we packed 50 Christmas Hampers for those on need in our Community. All these Hampers will be distributed to clients between now and Christmas.  Again thank you for your generosity it is really appreciated, from the President of the Western Port Conference”

Kind Regards
