Toolbox Parenting Courses

Mawson Lakes Community Church together with Lutheran Community Care would like to serve the Endeavour College community by providing a short course on parenting teenagers.

Toolbox Parenting Courses, provided by The Parenting Place, have helped countless parents grow in their skills, be encouraged, talk through real parenting issues and find a safe environment to share.  Run by a trained facilitator and supported by local volunteers, this is an excellent opportunity to grow in your parenting skills.

If you would like to grow in your parenting skills, increase your enjoyment in your relationship with your children, and learn tips and tools to reduce some of the stress and frustration naturally involved in raising young people, then this course is for you.

Your financial investment covers the cost of your manual, but assistance is available as required.

Having participated in Toolbox courses myself, I have found them extremely helpful in giving me the confidence I needed as a dad, and some extra insights so I could do a good job for my kids.

Sessions occur over six Tuesday evenings, during school term, starting on Tuesday 3 September and will be held in the Endeavour Centre Foyer. Please see the flyer for more information, including cost and registration information.

Immunisation Records

Families may have recently received a letter from the government advising that immunisations for their child are behind (mainly HPV).  We have been advised that there has been a glitch in the government system.  We recommend that you contact HAIMS direct to confirm: phone 8152 0363 or email admin@haims.com.au

Attached is additional information we have received from HAIMS that we have been asked to share with families regarding current immunisation schedules.

Mawson Lakes Neighbourhood Watch

The Mawson Lakes Neighbourhood Watch group meet quarterly at 6pm on a Thursday at the Mawson Centre Library, Main Street, Mawson Lakes, with all welcome to attend. Guest Speaker is Senior Sergeant Di Litton and Northern District Operations Coordinator.
