Major Production

Preparations for our Major Production, 'Before Upon A Time' are now in full swing!

The cast have commenced rehearsals, the sets are being constructed, and the creation of costumes and props are underway for what is set to be our most exciting and energetic theatrical production to date!

The performances will run over three nights: Wednesday 6 June, Thursday 7 June and Friday 8 June at 7.00pm in the Endeavour Centre.

'Before Upon A Time' is an entirely original, 1950s style, rock ‘n’ roll theatrical production set in a world of fairy tales. This bright, fun and colourful spectacular revolves around classic and original characters who are attending Meridian College and discovering what their future paths hold.

Written and directed by Mr Jamie Richards, this hilarious comedy takes the familiar, and then turns it on its head. Do you think you know Little Red Riding Hood? Well think again. Is the Big Bad Wolf really that bad? Is Jack truly destined to climb the beanstalk? All of these questions and more will be answered while we, ‘Twist and Shout’ and ‘Rock Around the Clock’ at the premiere production of Before Upon A Time.

Featuring a live Rock ‘n’ Roll band, musical numbers include songs from such artists as Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, CeeLo Green, Elton John, Chubby Checker and many more. The use of strobe and smoke effects will be in use during this performance.

Student / Concession: $13.00 (+ $1.80 booking fee per ticket if booked online)

Family (2 adults + 2 students): $50.00 (+ $3.84 booking fee per family pass if booked online)

Please also note that all tickets are General Admission. There will be no reserved seating.

We welcome donations of rehearsal snacks!

Thank you to all who have generously provided snacks to help keep students sustained during rehearsals for our major production, particularly during our recent holiday rehearsals! As always, it is wonderful to see such a strong sense of community and support for this major College event. As our cast continue to rehearse during lunch breaks and outside of school hours, any further donations of snacks would be warmly welcomed. Food can be sent to school with students or left in the marked boxes at Main Reception, Student Services or in the Endeavour Centre foyer.
