Excellence in Languages Award

State Languages Award

Mr Scott Ambrose received a special award yesterday acknowledging his work to support Languages.

Mr Ambrose was nominated by his colleagues for:

  • having shown evidence of an outstanding contribution to language teaching in Tasmania
  • having significantly influenced the pattern and quality of language teaching and learning in the state
  • having actively supported the work of the MLTAT

This award would normally have been presented to him face to face at the Modern Language Teachers Association of Tasmania (MLTAT) Conference to be held on 12 September, however due to COVID-19 restrictions the conference is now online so the award was presented in our assembly by Melissa Wickins, MLTAT President.

Congratulations Mr Ambrose!
