OUR FAITH

PRAYER

O God, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Amen

We pray ...

We pray for... all those who are suffering from illness, and for all candidates preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

LITURGY NEWS

Yesterday Fr Chris came to visit the students and teachers of Year 3.

MISSION STATEMENT

At the end of 2019 our school launched the revised mission statement. The mission statement underpins everything that we do here at St Nicholas. It is therefore important that the school commuity be able to articulate, understand and try to live out the mission statement in order to uphold the shared belief and values. Please take the time to read and reflect on the mission statement below particularly given the current context we are experiencing.

As a Catholic educational community, striving for excellence, we seek to follow the life and teachings of Jesus Christ through our faith and worship. Immersed in contemporary educational practices, we work collaboratively to become lifelong learners who are compassionate global citizens.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION (Year 6)

At this point in time, the Sacrament of Confirmation will be going ahead as planned with 4 Masses. The dates for Confirmation are Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September. Please keep our Confirmation Candidates in your prayers. Parents of Candidates please ensure that the relevant forms/monies including Sponsor documentation are paid via Qkr! and returned to school asap. There are many outstading forms and documentation.
